Possible Error: Brack Haddix, buried in the King’s Branch Cemetery, has a military stone indicating that he served during World War I. This Brack Haddix would have been 11 years old when World War I started, and his service would not have been possible. It is likely that the information about the company and time of service was wrong on the application for a stone or was misidentified in the records of the United States Army. There was another Brack Haddix (born 1894) who possibly did serve in World War I. This Brack Haddix (born 1907/8) is likelier to have served during World War II.
