Team Heron – September 9 – 10, 2023

September was a great hiking month for the Sheltowee Trace Challenge as the hike took hikers from the Tennessee side of Divide Road to the rest and relaxation of Charit Creek Lodge before traveling on Sunday morning to the vehicle parked at Bandy Creek. Many hikers enjoyed a stop at Maude’s Crack and the beautiful view along Station Camp Creek.

Hike Nine is complete, and there are just a few more hikes left to complete before the Challenge ends for 2023. many hikers are scrambling to make up missed sections, and all are excited to make it to the ranks of the “End to Enders” in the 2023 class. I look forward to seeing you out there on the trail.
